Pulse of origin

Two art forms – music and glass – comes together in an imagined ”pulse of origin”. They portray our world's pulse and cycle, from the earth core's large sea of magma to the little man in the daily quest. The “pulse of origin” exists in both the glass and the music. Glass melts and solidifies, the notes are collected and resonates. This picture reminds us of the human community when the earth moves.

Under the name “Pulse of origin”, folk music group Grantunga and glass artist Anna-Linda Gabriel has been inspired by each other's work.

The opening began with a concert by Grantunga where a slide show was also shown. After the concert the exhibition opened. In connection with the exhibits, visitors could listen to Grantunga's specially composed music.
